Mr. Li is a practising barrister, arbitrator, and accredited mediator. He is also a U. K. Chartered Engineer, a Hong Kong Registered Professional Engineer (Civil), and an Accredited NEC4 ECC Project Manager.

Before joining the legal profession, Mr. Li had been working in the engineering and commercial field for more than 28 years.

Apart from acting as legal counsel for varisou civil and criminal cases, Mr. Li also acts as arbitrator, mediator and dispute resolution advisor in various cases and projects involving commercial and construction matters.

Mr. Li has also acted as visiting lecturer and part-time tutor at the University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the City University of Hong Kong, teaching subjects relating to construction law and dispute resolution
